Woodwind Day 2026

Join us for Woodwind Day at Campbellsville University! It will be a celebration of music for all of our woodwind instruments and performers. You will attend concerts and clinics, test new instruments, learn some ensemble music, and perform on the final concert with all of your NEW woodwind playing friends from all over KY! Best of all - you will go back to your home band with more skill on your instrument!

This event is free and if you register before October 22nd, 2026, you will receive a free t-shirt!

Special Events will occur in the morning:

— “Mock” All-State audition with feedback from leading teachers and performers, as well as former All-State musicians. This aspect of the day can set you apart from all of the other All-State auditionees this year!

— Mass Woodwind Ensemble with Mr. Matt Wooten. Mr. Wooten is a woodwind performer, as well as one of the leading band Directors in KY! You will receive music that day, learn it together, and perform in the final concert.

You must pre-register for the “Mock” All-State Audition by October 21, 2026.  After you pre-register for the “mock” Audition, you will receive your unique audition time by October 30, 2026.  For more information about the “mock” All-State auditions, please contact Dr. Blake Johnson at tbjohnson@campbellsville.edu.

We hope you will join us on November 9, 2026!
